Day 31 of 331 - A Long One!

Hey!

It is now 1:15 AM on Sunday. I just finished four or five hours of drawing - about half and half between my paid project, and the model. I completed two additional hours on the paid project earlier in the day, so I got in six or seven hours today.
So, I'm ready for a 'day of rest!' I completed the front porch 'gingerbread,' although I discovered one omission and one error that I have repeated four or five times. I will correct them on Monday.
All in all, a great day! I will point out the obvious by saying that the pursuit of my goals to do historic design, and to earn a specified amount of money are requiring considerable effort - but that is a good thing. I am relearning that even when we completely visualize the result that we seek, it is still necessary to expend a good deal of effort to "realize" it. Interestingly, it is our ability to see clearly the desired result - and believe that it is ours - that gives us both the motivation and the power to make what is often an heroic effort to bring it to pass.
It is a sweet thing, however, to know that we were willing to pay a steep price to get what we wanted. It makes the result all the more satisfying!
Life is good! Monday I will make the correction mentioned above, and begin work on the gable details. I finish this in the next few weeks!
Meanwhile, I have decided that my next vehicle will be the H2 truck. Lund Cadillac has a 2008 with only 7,000 miles fully loaded. I will check it out on line. I feel fairly certain it is the one that is mine. That is exciting! I can see myself driving it now! I can't wait to go camping with all the equipment we need to camp in style! Again, I can't wait! It will happen very soon!

Thank you, and good night!

Mr. Wright
