Day 28 of 331 - A Distance Race

Good night, all!

It is 11:06 PM. Late! I stopped working about a half hour ago. (We then finished watching American Idol - Girls' Night. There are ten girls left, and three or four stars among them. It's so much fun to watch people be discovered, and then come into their own. Sweet!)
So, another day of working on my paid architectural project. I only got in about three hours, so the progress was minimal, but I am moving forward just the same. Tomorrow I really get into it, and finish the first pass Friday or Saturday.
Had another great day in the gym. That continues to be a huge factor in my approach to life. The progress I see in the gym helps me to sustain my positive self image and confidence. I love being in there nearly every day, and love seeing the results. Success breeds success, and success in this area affects the way we see ourselves - which affects most every other area of our lives in a positive way.
Meanwhile I finished putting all of the decorative soffit brackets on the front porch. I have a few corrections to make on the balustrade, and will then complete the main section of 'gingerbread.' That will complete the front porch - with the exception of the entry gable, which I will redo at the very end.
So I continue to make progress every day. I have been on this model for nearly a month now, and will probably be on it for several more weeks. The great news is that I continue to move towards the completion of my goals. I plan to do the Sirrine House next. It is probably a fourth or even a fifth the size of the Rosson House, so it will be a piece of cake after this!
I also continue to write down my goals as "I Am" statements each day, so my attitude is good, and the circumstances will inevitably follow.

Life is good!

Mr. Wright

PS. Today completes exactly one month since determining my path, and starting to work on it - and blog about it - every day (six days a week). Success!
