Howdy!
I have heard various reports on the number of days or weeks it takes to establish a new habit. It seems that it was generally thought to take two weeks or more. In any case, it obviously isn't done overnight. So, I have now been at this 'quest' for over a week, so if it takes two to establish the new habit, well, I'm halfway there!
So what did I do today? Well, Jan and I went to the gym for the ninth time in three weeks this morning. Had a great workout (some cardio, mostly lifting). I'd brag about the habit, but it is something I have been doing for fifteen years or more. (I loose track.) Since moving back from CA, however, and being short of funds, we hadn't been to the gym more than once or twice in seven months, so this is another 'new beginning' - and a good one!
After returning, drinking my protein shake, and reading scripture, I basically spent until just a few minutes ago (until 9:45 PM or so) working on the Rosson model. I made huge progress, and it is looking good. I love doing this, but it is not work for the faint of heart! It requires serious effort and concentration, but, again, I love it!
While I unsuccessfully tried to put some of the images on an earlier blog (last week), I will try again tomorrow to do so, in order to give visual updates of my progress. In a nutshell, I have been working on "The Project" every day. I plan to show the completed model to John Penn. I believe he will want to "print" it. I will then have something to show the new owner of the development.
The sophistication of the model will give me high credibility with anyone in the industry . . . which can't hurt my progress.
Good night!
Mr. Wright
