Day 11 of 331 - Sabbath Comment

Hello World!

Yes, it's Sunday, and I don't 'work' on Sunday, but since my posting yesterday was a bit brief, I wanted to make a more insightful commentary, and today seemed like the perfect day to do it!

One of the principles that I hoped to demonstrate or prove in creating this 'biographical log,' or 'blog,' is that of the mind governing, indeed creating, our 'reality' - both the perceived part and the 'real' part or parts. In order to 'prove' that, I need to both engage in daily practices that are meant to produce a predetermined, positive result, and I need to report on the results themselves, as predicted. To date, other than working on the project every day (but Sunday), I have essentially forgotten to engage in any such 'mental' (spiritual, actually) process.
So, how's that for a confession? The Master Builder, the great Thought Author, has gone on working for over a week now, without so much as a thought about controlling the outcome of my efforts through 'mental' processes.
The first result that I can report from the lack of a consciously selected plan is that my 'semi-conscious' has taken over, and my general state of unbelief has reigned supreme. Sure, I've continued to work, and work long and hard - and immensely enjoy myself in the process - but I have not expected any great outcome as a result of my efforts, nor have I pictured such, consciously or otherwise.
As I wrote in, and entitled Chapter Two, of Book II, (of The Secret of Life Series) Beliefs Rule! And the beliefs I am talking about are those that dominate the semi-conscious, and define who we are. And while these beliefs are the result of prior conscious thinking, they play over and over, below the level of our consciousness, on a continual, on-going basis. Thus these pre-recorded beliefs pre-determine the outcome of our lives.
Well, it is late, and I have other duties to which I must attend, so I will end here. Starting tomorrow morning, however, I will revisit my goals (stated herein), and begin to consider daily practices for bringing them to - first, spiritual fruition, and then, 'physical' reality. Let me conclude by reminding myself, as well as you, my reader, that these spiritual or mental processes are already in effect. They are simply happening by default, and not by conscious choice. That is what I (and you) must set about to change!
'Seacrest' out!
